Drug Offences

Possession Offences

If you smoke, possess, or consume cannabis or possess equipment then you may receive an expiation notice if it is for personal use. However, if you are caught in a public place such as a pub then you will have to go to Court.

Trafficking Drugs

Should you possess drugs with the intention of selling them or supply drugs for sale then you may be charged with trafficking controlled drugs. If you possess greater than a specified quantity then the law will presume that you had the intention to sell them unless you can prove it was for personal use. Sale of Plants

It is an offence to grow even a single cannabis plant. If you grow a single plant to supply or distribute to another or have greater than five plants then you will have to go to Court. If you are caught with more than ten plants then the law presumes that you have a trafficable quantity unless you can prove that you did not intend to sell them. Manufacture of Drugs

It is an offence to manufacture a drug with the intention to sell it or believing another intends to sell it. If you manufacture greater than a trafficable quantity then the law presumes you had the required intention or belief for the offence unless you can prove otherwise. Traffic Offences

We provide expert advice for all traffic offences. There are many traffic offences such as drink driving which carry a minimum loss of licence. When a driver is pulled over by the police the driver may receive an immediate notice of disqualification of their licence. Later, the Court may impose a greater period of disqualification if you are guilty of the offence. We can assist you in presenting your case to the Court whether you plea guilty or not guilty.

There are many other offences which carry a loss of demerit points. However, we are frequently successful in reducing demerit points. As a result you may avoid a loss of your licence.
